Designing, growth, characterization and application of semiconductors, currently specially focusing in ZnO related materials by molecular beam epitaxy and scanning tunneling microscopy

Born in June 1969, Dr Huahan Zhan received his BSc in applied physics from Chengdu Univeresity of Science and Technology, and PhD in semiconductors from Xiamen University, China in 1990 and 1998, respectively. Then he worked at University of Science and Technology Hong Kong, Waseda University in Japan, and Technique University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He went back to Xiamen University in 2003 as an Associate Professor of Physics. From June 2011,he is a Visiting Professor at the University of Auckland, New Zealand
